Features catching carp float fishing rod

During the summer period, a crucian is caught using mainly a float rod. This allows, with minimal noise, to cast bait under a coastal bush or hanging tree branches where fish likes to feed. However, the success of fishing will depend on a variety of factors associated with the choice of location, gear preparation and selection of baits.
Catch
We select and set up the float fishing rod for crucian
So, a rich catch will be provided, if responsibly mounted gear. For fishing carp fit: plug, match, fly rod. The rod is selected depending on the conditions of the reservoir and the conditions of fishing.
If you plan to catch a crucian carcass at a distance of 2-3 meters from the coast, for example, in thickets of reeds and other coastal vegetation, then a fly fishing rod with a length of up to four meters will be preferable. The main requirements for float fishing rod for crucian carp:
section of the main line 0.18-0.2 mm, with a breaking load up to 4 kg;
fishing rod with a length of 4-6 meters (the choice depends on the conditions of fishing);
lead up to 30 cm long from a fishing line with a section of 0.15 mm;
an elongated float with a thin antenna 4-6 cm long;
hooks with a short forearm dark color № 3-4, special attention should be paid to the sharpness of the sting.
Choosing a place to catch
Carp with the use of float fishing rods can be successfully caught on almost any part of the reservoir. Carp lives in small rivers and ponds, lakes and reservoirs. Most often found in areas of the water area where the depth does not exceed three meters. It is most convenient to catch a crucian carp with float gear on reservoirs with standing water. Note that carp moving bait attracts less than the bait, which is in a calm state.
Place for fishing
Find the active carp – is the main task of the angler. Therefore, we immediately note that the most promising areas for catching this fish will be areas with the presence of underwater vegetation, as well as borders near the duckweed and reeds. It is here that the carp will always feed, but with good weather. It is not recommended to give preference to the deep areas, as the crucian carp feeds at a depth of 1-2 meters, among lily beds and young reeds.
There is a crucian in shallow creeks with loose and oozy bottom. Therefore, if a small window is found on such a plot, the surface of which is abundantly covered with duckweed, you can safely throw bait into it and if the flock of carp is nearby, then you will not have to wait for a long time. Large carp can be found in areas with sharp differences, so the first thing to come to the reservoir, it is recommended to study the bottom topography in the selected area.
Place for fishing
In the middle of summer, when the days get hot and the water in the shallows warms up more, the carp begins to look for areas where the water is enriched with oxygen. Perspective places can be noted on the shaded side of the coast, under the bridge supports, as well as near the trees fallen into the water. In summer you can catch crucians not only from the shore, but also from a boat. The second option is preferable, since it is easy to get to the most remote and most promising areas for fishing.
In small closed reservoirs, the crucian practically does not change its habitat, therefore knowing where the crucian is usually well caught, it is safe to go to such sites once again and bite will be guaranteed. An additional guideline for the presence of an active crucian can be air bubbles rising to the surface, the movement of reeds or grass.
Technique fishing on float rod
Having come to the reservoir and picking up a place, it should be immediately fed with a small amount of bait, which must include part of the nozzle used. Note that it is enough to throw 2-3 lumps of bait the size of a tennis ball into the water. Today, carp for bait can be bought at a fishing store, and you can cook yourself. It is recommended to knead the bait on the shore of the reservoir, using for this the local water. If you decide to use the store bait, then you should add to it a choice:
corn, semolina, wheat groats;
breadcrumbs;
ground sunflower seeds or oilcake;
cookies or gingerbread;
honey, sugar;
bloodworm, moldy worm or manure worms.
The use of any of the proposed ingredients will increase the attractiveness and effectiveness of not only self-prepared bait, but also purchased in a fishing store.
Only when the place of fishing will be prikormleny, you can begin to arrange it and unwinding gear. It is worth noting that the crucian feeds from the bottom, so it is necessary to set the depth so that the float takes a vertical position after casting, but at the same time the hook with the bait lies freely on the bottom.
Arrangement of fishing grounds
For fishing, two float fishing rods are enough, which after casting are put on rogalines and await a bite. Note that if the crucian carp does not begin to peck within 30 minutes, then it will not catch a half meter to the point of catching, namely between the floats.
